hmmm the scanner sux
its a big one so i had to scan it in 4 parts as well
im not sure about it....
but this is where my toilet water poem came from
done in acrylics and oil pastels
xXx
love the colors and shades you used here, the blue/purple is just great
IMO alot of emotion and self-portratisism (does that word exist? ) comes out of it
again the scan makes it look a bit dodgy but i love it just the same
Thats kewl as hell! Like I said with the rest of your artwork, I love your style! It's funny though how the vibe is so negative (bulemia reflection) but you have warm colors in almost everything you do. It's almost like your comfortable being the way you are but discusted with life at the same time.
This is very moving.
The hopeless posture, the way she seemingly is sitting on her own body, holding herself down. And you can't see her face, it's hidden in a shroud of her own hair. The dirty color of the walls, the hard words, it is all very beautiful. Interesting as well, because a reflection in toilet water is a reflection of your own face. So it's not even seeing her body that sets her off, it's looking into her eyes.
A continuation of my unexpectedly-popular guide on Mary Sue prevention. Feedback and support is completely welcomed! Thank you all for your support so far.

This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
